Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana :
The cabinet approved the Revenue Department proposal to begin the scheme titled Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana to enable 1100 senior citizens from each Assembly Constituency per year to undertake free pilgrimage, the expenses for which will be borne by the government. (It is proposed that a total of 77,000 pilgrims will be able to avail this facility every year).
It is estimated that on an average the scheme will incur a cost of Rs 7,000 per pilgrim. The pilgrimage duration will be of three days and two nights.
The scheme will be for any of the following routes :
a) Delhi-Mathura-Vrindavan-Agra-fatehpur Sikri-Delhi
b) Delhi-Haridwar-Rishikesh-Neelkanth-Delhi
c) Delhi-Ajmer-Pushkar-Delhi
d) Delhi-Amritsar-Bagha Border-Anandpur Sahib-Delhi
e) Delhi-Vaishno Devi-Jammu-Delhi
Eligibility for the Scheme :
i) Any resident of Delhi above 60 years of age will be eligible for the scheme
ii) Those selected, will be allowed to be accompanied by an attendant above 18 years of age, whose expenditure will also be borne by the government.
iii) The applicant should not have an income of above Rs three lakh per annum.
iv) The applicant should not be an employee of central/state/local government or autonomous bodies.
v) The applicant will have to give a self-certificate that all information being given by them is correct and they have not availed the scheme in the past.
vi) Those selected for pilgrimage will be covered with an insurance of Rs two lakh each.
vii) Travel will be in A/C buses through coach tours of DTTDC, boarding lodging and food along with pilgrimage will be paid for by the government.
Procedure for application :
All application forms will be available online and shall be filed online either through Office of Divisional Commissioner or office of respective MLA or office of Tirth Yatra Committee.
The selection of pilgrims will be done through draw of lots and respective area MLA will have to certify the residents as belonging to Delhi. All other modalities will be specified in the final notification.
2) The cabinet approved the Transport Department proposal for Request for Qualification & Proposal & Draft Concession Agreement for inviting bids for engagement of 1,000 cluster buses.
It is proposed add 100 buses in Rewla Khanpur Depot, 250 buses in Dwarka Sector 22, 120 buses in Kharkhari Nahar, 90 buses in Bawana Sector 1, 160 buses in Rani Khera-I, 140 buses each in Rani Khera-II & Rani Khera-III.
These buses will be non-AC and standard floor.
It is estimated to have these buses on roads within a maximum period of eight months.
DIMTS has been appointed the consultant for the engagement of these 1,000 buses.
दिल्ली सरकार की कैबिनेट ने फैसले लिये।
मुफ्त में तीर्थ यात्रा कराएगी दिल्ली सरकार
कैबिनेट ने मुख्यमंत्री तीर्थ यात्रा योजना को मंजूरी दे दी है। इसके तहत
दिल्ली के वरिष्ठ नागरिकों (60 साल से अधिक) को मुफ्त में विभिन्न
तीर्थों की यात्रा कराई जाएगी। इस स्कीम के तहत 3 दिन और 2 रात की यात्रा
कराई जाएगी। अभी पांच रूट तय किये गये हैं। इनमें मथुरा-वृंदावन,
हरिद्वार-ऋषिकेश-नीलकंठ, पुष्कर-अजमेर, अमृतसर-बाघा-आनंदपुर साहिब,
वैष्णो देवी-जम्मू हैं। इन सभी रूट्स पर एक-एक एसी बस चलाई जाएगी।
यात्रियों के रहने का खर्च और ब्रेकफास्ट, लंच, डिनर इत्यादि का खर्च भी
सरकार खुद उठाएगी। इस स्कीम में प्रत्येक यात्री के लिए 2 लाख रुपये का
इंश्योरेंस भी शामिल होगा। दिल्ली की प्रत्येक विधानसभा में से हर साल
1100 लोगों को इस योजना का लाभ मिल सकेगा।
